What the Insanity Workout Is Like Compared to Other Programs

The insanity workout has been developed to work out all areas of the body and it requires that you work far harder than in other programs. Many recommend around 70% of maximum work for short durations of time, but the insanity workout says that you should work at 85% of your maximum intensity with short intervals in-between.

Not many other programs are structures in the way that the insanity workout is, in that many of them either say that there should be hard work done every hour of every week done for two or three weeks, but this will almost always not be long enough to produce any real results. Others recommend workouts stretched over months or even years to keep at top form. However, the insanity workout is based around sixty days of very hard work, involving maximum intensity work with very short intervals between each activity. It is the hardest workout out of any out there, which has been developed by an elite trainer.
